What I'm doing now
Current Goals
- Recovering from burnout and health issues. While this isn’t interesting, it’s a real side of life that I’ve not come into contact with before.
- Building a consistent fitness & wellness routine incorporating a mixture of running, gym, meditation and yoga into my daily life again.
- Taking control of my time, focusing on enjoyable activities rather than things than only productive ones. That’s what caused the burnout. I’m learning from my mistakes.
- Paying more attention to the people around me, my family and friends. This isn’t something that comes naturally to me so it’s work. It’s not that I don’t care, I have an avoidant personality which I wish I could shake off.
Learning
On Hold - If I’m honest I don’t know what I want to learn right now. I know what I need to improve upon (Polish Language). I’m fluent but much work is needed for me to have those deeper conversations with full self expression. For now it’s all about recovery.
Reading
A Game of thrones - I love a big fantasy book now and again; this is light and fun to read, no work just enjoyment.

24 - My wife never watched it, and it really stands the test of time.

Playing
Elden Ring (I’m obsessed) Late to the party on this one, but for the last 15 years I didn’t play games. I was focused on work and productivity, coming back to it in January this year and finding this gem has bought me so much joy, and fulled hours of thinking about the possibilities in the lore.
